It rained hard again today. It will rain again tomorrow. The Yankees have already been rained out three times through the first 13 days of the baseball season.
The weather people seem to be much more accurate when they are predicting cold and wet then when they are predicting sunny and dry so I went down to the river early in the morning before going off to do my civic duty at 60 Centre Street (aka NY State Supreme Court (Civil)). On my way down to the river I came across this. My cousin suggest it was caused by a very “sharp Frisbee”. All stories and ideas appreciated.
A lot of barge activity this AM. I have not been able to decipher the whys and wherefores of when barge traffic is heavy and when it is light so I am betting that it has very little to do with weather except when there are serious storms. 
Nonetheless Spring is definitely here.
Events are being scheduled for the spring and summer on the Hudson. I spent part of the night starting to figure out which ones I can afford, which ones I would like to attend etc. For example I would like to attend Riverkeeper’s The Fisherman\’s Ball tomorrow evening (4/13/11), but I am starting a new class at International School of Photography.
WordPress, the organization that hosts this blog, is extremely good at picking up spam comments. I do love to read them though. Here is an example of one of the more coherent ones that I have received: “
